Experienced Dental Assistant — 3½-Day Workweek.
We are a small, established private dental practice seeking an experienced, X-ray-certified dental assistant to join our team.
Our office works Tuesday through Friday, approximately 32–34 hours per week, with a scheduled lunch break. This position may be a good fit for an assistant who values a consistent schedule, a professional workplace, teamwork, and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance during general and restorative dental procedures.
- Prepare, clean, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms.
- Properly sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols.
- Maintain and care for dental equipment.
- Accurately document patient care in the clinical record, including SOAP notes.
- Monitor, organize, and restock clinical supplies.
- Assist the front office when needed.
- Follow the practice’s professional dress and appearance standards.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of dental assisting experience.
- Current Arizona X-ray certification.
- Reliable attendance and professional communication.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
- Arizona coronal polishing certification and DANB Certified Dental Assistant credentials are preferred but not required.
Schedule:
- Tuesday through Friday.
- Approximately 32–34 hours per week.
- Full-time, in-person position.
Compensation:
$20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
